Coviello Electric recently upgraded every streetlight in the Town of Nahant with energy-efficient LED cobrahead fixtures, significantly reducing energy consumption and lowering the Town’s carbon footprint. This modernization not only enhances public safety by providing brighter, more uniform street lighting, but also delivers over 50% in energy savings, which will be benefiting both the town and its taxpayers. As part of the project, fused disconnects were installed at each streetlight to improve safety for maintenance personnel. The outdated HID fixtures were responsibly removed and recycled, reinforcing the Town’s commitment to sustainability.
