Located between Harvard Stadium and the Charles River, DCR Soldiers Field Road recently received a significant lighting upgrade while preserving its historical and visually striking character. Coviello Electric replaced the existing fixtures with a new system featuring 62 “Historic Style” street lighting poles and energy-efficient LED pendant-type luminaires. The project included the installation of over 3 miles of underground conduit, wiring, handholes, two load center cabinets, and an upgraded electric service. This modernization not only improves safety and energy efficiency but also complements the area’s timeless charm, ensuring it remains a welcoming and well-lit destination for all.
